Howdy, Outlaws!

I make art about little outlaws doing their best in a very big world.

Happy Little Outlaws started when a color swatch experiment with some new alcohol markers went a little Western. One thing led to another, and now there’s a whole world of colorful cowboys, their animal friends, and an unreasonable number of tiny boots.

The Outlaws are a curious bunch. Some have big dreams, some have questionable plans, and some are just trying to make it through the day. They don’t always know where they’re going or what they’re doing, but they hope, they dream, and they try. Around here, that’s more than enough to be an outlaw.

I believe there’s plenty of room in life for silliness, color, and things that exist simply because they ought to. I absolutely adore dreaming up these little characters and sending them out into the world to see what happens.

I hope they bring you joy, too. More than that, I hope you see a little of your own life in theirs. The messy moments, the small victories, the big feelings, and the occasional questionable decision are all inspired by something real. I hope they remind you that we’re all figuring things out as we go and that this is, in fact, our first rodeo.

Things may get a little weird around here, but I’m so happy you came.

Happy Trails,
